Responding to language diversity: the role of partnerships

Starts: Tue, 12 May 2015 14:00:00 BST
Ends: Tue, 12 May 2015 17:00:00 BST

Central Manchester is one of the most linguistically diverse districts in the country. It is also home to a unique partnership that has developed to provide interpreter services at Central Manchester Hospitals. We have invited key participants to share their experience around an innovative method of managing interpreter requests, and an approach to procurement that offers a novel model of public and private sector partnership. We will be joined by students, who will report on their volunteer work with the hospital’s patient experience team, and by academic colleagues who are leading experts in assessing equality in access to healthcare.
