As the University's sector-leading policy engagement institute, Policy@Manchester connects researchers with policymakers and influencers, nurtures long-term policy engagement relationships, and seeks to enhance stakeholder understanding of pressing policy challenges.

We are delighted to open invitations to our latest panel discussion – Achieving cleaner air for all.

Air pollution kills 64,000 people each year in England alone, with at least 1,200 deaths in Greater Manchester, and with disadvantaged communities disproportionately impacted - how can we level up and achieve cleaner air for all?

In this panel debate, business leaders and experts on Clean Air will present unique research and insight in the fight against air pollution. They will be joined in conversation by the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham.

The event will be held ‘in person’ on Friday 3 December at 10am at the Midland Hotel, with livestreaming available. More information can be found on the Policy@Manchester website.

To reserve your spot please email policy@manchester.ac.uk.

For information: unfortunately the venue is not fully wheelchair accessible. We apologise if this impacts you in any way – if this is the case please let Policy@Manchester know as they will also be live streaming the event online including the opportunity to participate in the Q&A session.
