Annual Arthur Lewis Lecture 2022

The University’s School of Social Sciences is pleased to announce that this year’s Arthur Lewis Lecture is to be given by Sir Tom Shakespeare, Professor of Disability Research in the medical faculty at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Sir Tom was previously Professor of Disability Research in the medical faculty at the University of East Anglia (UEA) and is a well-known social scientist and bioethicist, who writes and talks about disability and ethical issues.

The focus of the lecture will be Disability and Education.
