Sustainability Challenge Photography Competition 2022: entries close soon

Cameras at the ready, the University’s first Sustainability Challenge Photography Competition is soon closing for entries!

Undergraduate and postgraduate taught students at the University have until Friday, 4 March to submit a photo and caption which raises awareness of a sustainability issue that’s important to them. As well as receiving cash prizes of up to £200, finalists will also be able to donate to a sustainability charity of their choice.

The competition offers students a timely opportunity to focus on current sustainability issues which have been highlighted by COP26 and ongoing talks around climate change. As well as engaging students with sustainability, the contest is also promoting our Sustainability Challenge, an interactive online activity where students across the University learn to think critically about sustainability in a real-world context.

Students who take part can log their commitment on 50,000 Actions, our sustainability initiative. Winners of the competition will be announced at The Making a Difference Awards on Tuesday, 10 May.
