On Friday 12 May, Dr Sarah Heath, Director of Education and Assistant Vice Dean for Equality, Diversity and Social Responsibility, won the Sue Ryder Yorkshire Women of Achievement Awards 2017, in the Science and Technology Category. Sarah was recognised for her research achievements, underpinning preparedness for nuclear events, teaching excellence and her commitment to social responsibility and engagement.
