Submissions for our Social Justice Photography Competition 2020, which aims to engage students with social justice issues is now open to all undergraduate students at The University of Manchester.

The competition promotes the Social Justice Challenge, an online activity for 2^nd year undergraduates, which covers a range of topics such as homelessness and mental health, through to higher education. The Challenge forms part of the University’s signature Ethical Grand Challenges program which aims to create more socially responsible graduates.

Students have until March 6 2020 to submit a photo and caption which raises awareness of a social justice issue that’s important to them. Last year the competition received over 6,000 votes. The Grand Prize of £400 was awarded to Paul Famutimi-Dickson from the School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering for his photo Shades.
