Christies Bistro Starts a Herb Garden

The Green Impact team at Christies Bistro, one of the busiest food outlets on campus, have started their own herb garden for the chefs to use in their cooking.

Using two recycled planting tubs from Environmental Services, and a nice sunny patch of land underneath the gable-end of Whitworth Hall along Burlington Street they set-up their own herb assortment. With an assortment of mint, basil, rosemary, thyme and many others, they’ve got plenty of choice to add to their menus.

The staff at the Bistro are actively involved in maintaining the herb garden to ensure that it flourishes.
