The Manchester Access Programme (MAP) is the University’s flagship widening participation scheme for local post-16 pupils who are from backgrounds currently underrepresented in higher education.

This September we are very pleased to welcome nearly 200 new MAP undergraduates to the University. To help celebrate their achievements we will be holding a special welcome event on Tuesday 26 September with support from the Students’ Union, Alumni and Development and the Careers Service, to also highlight the help and guidance available to students during their studies as well as encourage MAP undergraduates to make the most of their time at the University.
