Volunteering and social justice week

Monday 11 October – Friday 15 October

Student Volunteering & Social Justice Week.

Our annual student volunteering fair is back…and better than ever! Wanting to make volunteering as accessible as possible, The University’s Volunteering team have extended our annual Volunteering & Social Justice Fair to a week-long celebration. This five day event for students includes a series of online talks, panel sessions and an in-person fair – giving students the unique opportunity to meet charities face-to-face and remotely, to find their perfect volunteering opportunity.

12 & 13 October, 11am-3pm, Whitworth Hall

The Volunteering & Social Justice Fair

The Volunteering & Social Justice Fair is one of the major highlights of the week. This event gives new and returning students the chance to talk to over 70 different charities and not-for-profit organisations from a wide range of sectors including cultural, environmental, health, sport and social inclusion. The event will also include many Students’ Union societies which also offer volunteering opportunities. Each organisation attending will provide a different way for students to meet new people, explore their community and play a role in tackling local and global social justice issues.

Keep your eyes peeled for the full schedule.
