Manchester Central Library, 22 October – 7 November 2014

An innovative and thought-provoking exhibition that explores the spaces where art, medicine, health, and technology meet. Collaboratively curated by The Museum of Medicine and Health and Anatomy Projects, the exhibition contains selected artefacts from the University of Manchester’s Medicine and Health collections and showcases a project with hearing-loss participants, Silence of the Photograph. Anatomy Projects’ beautiful portrait photography, taken with a Victorian camera, creates a linking thread between lived experiences of medicine and its technologies and artefacts.
