On the 13 November 2019, Professor Nav Kapur will be speaking about the science of preventing suicide at Blackwell’s bookshop, University of Manchester.
The event marks the publication of his new book Suicide Prevention 3rd Edition (Oxford Psychiatric Library). Over recent years research into suicidal behaviour has burgeoned, and the third edition of this successful pocketbook reflects major developments in the evidence base and clinical practice. Nav Kapur will discuss the causes, treatment, and prevention of suicide and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask him questions.
