Ever wanted to talk to the public about your research in a whole new way? To share your passion for your subject in a light-hearted manner?
If so, Bright Club Manchester wants you!
Bright Club is looking for researchers to become comedians for the night… in fact only for eight minutes! Bright Club is the thinking person’s variety club! Blending comedy, research and music into a very enjoyable night out!
Bright Club is currently recruiting for our next Bright Club event BCM16:BRAINS – which will explore everything brain related in aid of Brain Awareness Week. As well as neuroscientists, we are also interested to find a speaker to take a witty view on the history of the brain in science and/or medicine.
You would take part in a workshop with fellow performers to work on your material, throw around some ideas and pick up some comedy tricks. Then the event would be held on Thursday 14 March at Nexus Art Café in the Northern Quarter.
