Saturday 20 July at 2pm, St Ann’s Square, Manchester

Join us in the sunshine for the next M-cubed event (Manchester Minute Microlectures) this Saturday afternoon. Biomedical researchers will share their enthusiasm and expertise by giving a pitch about their work in just one minute.

Talks start at 2pm in St Ann’s Square in the city centre and will be followed by complimentary coffee and cake in the Royal Exchange café. Everyone is welcome to join us to hear about some incredible research and meet some inspiring people.

This project builds upon a successful model pioneered by American universities. Researchers give their microlecture in a public space and it is also filmed so a bigger community can watch their talks online. M-cubed is funded by the Wellcome Trust and organised by Dr Sue Astley (Institute of Population Health) and Kate Dack (Nowgen).
