Our Next Generation Nuclear scientists are preparing for an outreach activity taking place at MOSI over the summer. But first, they are running an in-house demo of their nuclear-themed interactive table top science activities here on campus.
You’ll get the chance to explore the role nuclear energy plays as a low carbon energy source, see how modern nuclear reactors are operated, and discover why radioactivity is a part of our every day world.
When: Tuesday 9 August 2016, 13:30 – 15:00
Where: In the Sackville Street Building (room C24)
Free, drop-in event.
So why not pop along and meet our engaging nuclear scientists? You can stay for as little or as long as you like. All staff and students across the University are welcome!
