The University is hosting and event with the Fair Education Alliance (FEA) on Tuesday 14 June, 6pm – 8.30pm, to launch the FEA’s second report examining educational inequality across England.
The Fair Education Alliance was launched in June 2014 and is a coalition of over 55 of the UK’s leading organisations from business and the third sector. Its aim is to work towards ending the persistent achievement gap between young people from our poorest communities and their wealthier peers. The launch event will feature a keynote speech from the University’s Chancellor Lemn Sissay and a presentation of the Report Card by Fair Education Alliance Director, Lewis Iwu. There will also be a Q&A session with a panel.
You are very welcome to attend and further details and registration for the event can be found here.
