Drew Hemment, Founder & Creative Director invites you to get involved in one or more of the following ways…

On 21-24 March we present The FutureEverything Summit of Ideas & Digital Invention – a place to discover the innovative ideas and people that are changing the world. We invite you to join in, debate and learn about the themes that will influence the future of digital culture and society – The Data Society, Future Cities and Creative Code.

The conference programme takes place over two days on 21-22 March, with speakers and artists from organisations including Google, Vimeo, Kickstarter, Fabrica, Europeana, BBC and more taking part. The Summit is designed to be an intense, creative, thought-provoking and inspiring two days, exploring ideas and innovations in digital culture and society.

Student tickets are on sale now at http://futureeverything.org priced at just £30. I’m sure this will be of interest to a number of students at the University of Manchester.

Alongside the conference there is a 48 hour innovation challenge with cash and development prizes available for new, useful applications using open data. There is also an exciting music programme and a series of art events taking place – tickets are on sale now at http://futureeverything.org

Volunteering at FutureEverything – A strong team of volunteers will be required to support the Summit, from on the ground during the event as part of our production team, to assisting with marketing, artist liaison and event facilitation.

FutureEverything has a commitment to training the next generation of cultural leaders and to making a real difference to the opportunities available. The volunteer programme scheme aims to provide professional development opportunities across a broad range of project management and creative skills.

We hope to recruit dedicated and dynamic individuals who will be committed in their involvement with the event. We want to recruit a body of volunteers who are excited about and committed to the delivery of FutureEverything 2013.

To sign up for our volunteer programme, please email volunteer@futureeverything.org for more information.

Bursary programme – FutureEverything is pleased to announce that a limited number of conference bursaries are available providing a complementary pass to practicing artists, activists and change makers without institutional support to ensure their voices are fully represented at the Summit. Student applications are also accepted provided they are supplied alongside a letter of support from a course leader. Visit http://futureeverything.org/summit/bursaries/ for more details. (Places on the bursary scheme are limited and in high demand. if you wish to guarantee a place at the Summit student tickets are only £30.)
