What is 3MT?
The Three Minute Thesis ®(3MT) competition challenges doctoral candidates to present a compelling spoken presentation of their research topic and its significance. In just 3 minutes 10 researchers will attempt to make their thesis topic clear, compelling and entertaining! So join us and learn about weighing giants, the ABC of hair loss prevention and using blood to predict the future (amongst other fascinating topics).
The Final
This year’s final will be judged by Prof Amanda Bamford, Elizabeth Wilkinson and Antonio Benitez (Manchester Science Festival Director). We also have the award winning science communicator Katie Steckles to compere and entertain.
