Are you a community based organisation who is keen to support their members to engage with science and engineering? Or are you a scientist or engineer who has a hunger to share the wonder of your research with others?

This is your chance to collaborate and bid for £1,000 thinking funding to help develop exciting engagement projects!

You can APPLY NOW to be part of events in Manchester (5th June) and London (4th July).

Wonder Match is the perfect opportunity for community organisations and researchers to meet together and develop ideas for engagement activities. The series of partnership-building events are designed to support community organisations, scientists and engineers to work together to encourage diverse audiences to engage with science.

Brought to you by the National Co-ordinating Centre for Public Engagement (NCCPE) and the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), the events provide an opportunity for community organisations supporting people in the 40% most deprived areas of the UK, and researchers in STFC related disciplines, to meet and develop project ideas together.

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to network; share ideas; and explore potential partnership ideas together. You will also have the chance to bid for up to £1,000 to help develop your ideas and plans for working together further. We anticipate that partnerships formed at the event will also apply for up to £15,000 funding from the STFC Spark Award.
