Some of you may be aware that a major new report on public engagement was published last week by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation: How can universities support disadvantaged communities?
The research aims to stimulate wide-ranging debate and discussion about what universities are for and is largely based on a questionnaire survey of universities across the UK and visits to nearly 30 universities.
Many members of staff at Manchester were involved in this piece of work and you will see that we are referenced positively in many of the sections.
You can take a look at the report here.
