The British Science Association is pleased to announce that the 2014 Science Communication Conference will be held on 1 & 2 May 2014 at the University of Surrey. We have chosen a venue outside of London to keep costs down so hopefully the delegate fees will not be a barrier for people who want to come.

This two day event is the only cross-sector conference, bringing together people from across the science communication field. Over 400 people usually attend the conference, including both seasoned sci-commers and those who are new to the sector. Representatives from science centres and museums, festivals, research councils, universities, learned societies, science policy, charities as well as freelancers and small consultancies enjoy networking among the variety of delegates attending.

There will be a call for proposals announced soon, along with details of the conference strands, possible theme and key speakers.
