Training

Every member of staff at The University of Manchester is required to undertake a wide range of formal and mandatory training on issues of social responsibility, equality, diversity and inclusion and environmental sustainability when they begin work with us.

Staff cover a wide range of modules on social responsibility, equality, diversity and inclusion and environmental sustainability.

Examples of mandatory units on equality, diversity and inclusion include:

• Unconscious Bias
• Disability Equity

Examples of Faculty-led NAP programme units for staff that cover environmental sustainability and social responsibility include:

Students, social responsibility and environmental sustainability training

Every undergraduate student at Manchester is invited to take part in our three Ethical Grand Challenges programmes. These provide opportunities for every student to undertake training, learning and awareness on:

• Workplace Ethics
