Steve Biko Sustainability Fund

Making our planet sustainable is a goal that our students are passionate about.

To support this committment The University of Manchester Students’ Union (UMSU) has recently launched the Steve Biko Sustainability Fund. The project was spearheaded by the UMSU 2020/2021 Executive Officers who negotiated and secured a £50,000 fund. The aim of fund is to help support our students in their bid to create more impact and a more sustainable world. It is open to all students to apply for, who would like to undertake any sustainability/ethics – related projects but are currently financially constrained to do so.

Students can apply for up to £500 to carry out their project. The fund is open to all current students at The University of Manchester, to support their efforts to create a more sustainable world. Students can apply individually or as a team through submiting a project proposal. The deadline for submissions is 6 July.
