Lindsay Bann introduces the refreshed Stellify Award
A refreshed version of The University of Manchester’s Stellify Award has launched in 2026 and is now available for undergraduate students. The new points-based award is more inclusive, giving students greater flexibility to personalise their experience, choosing from more than 150 activities that support personal development, employability, global citizenship and community engagement.
In this short video, Lindsay Bann explains what’s changing, how the award works, and how staff and students can get involved. The refreshed award is built around four themes: Making a Difference, Becoming a Global Citizen, Developing my Skills and Shaping my Future, helping students develop skills, broaden their horizons and make a positive difference during their time at Manchester. In 2027, the postgraduate version of the refreshed Stellify Award will launch.
