Visit The University of Manchester’s John Rylands Library on 26 September 2026 for activities linked to the 2026 Medieval Faire. Sessions will take place across the day, including short talks and a demonstration on one of the historic printing presses. There will be a Collections Encounter between 2pm and 3pm with one of the library’s curators looking at a Medieval book, how it was made, and its surprising connection to the ancient Greek world.  

Please note that there may be a queue to enter the Library. If you would like to join a specific event, please allow for enough time. All of the Rylands’s sessions are free and you do not need to book tickets.
