Accelerating Just Climate Action conference

conference posterTo save a few air miles and prevent feelings of flight-shame related to COP28 being hosted in UAE this year, the University’s Sustainable Futures along with support from Tyndall Manchester, Henry Royce Institute and Creative Manchester is hosting an all-day event. The event will showcase the work of early career researchers that intersects with topics that will be inevitably discussed during the intergovernmental negotiations.

The aim is to foster debate, collaboration and interdisciplinary thinking to help develop new, or grow existing relationships across the University’s diverse group of early career researchers studying the many facets of sustainability. This is all in the spirit of helping to accelerate climate action. Three speakers per session will present their research followed by a Q&A panel.
