On the evening of 21 March 2025, our Alliance Manchester Business School Alumni Association (Hong Kong) hosted a charity fundraising party at one of The University of Manchester’s alumni houses. The event was a resounding success, with 44 attendees registered.

Members of the Guangzhou Alumni Association from Shenzhen joined AMBSAA for the special occasion. The primary focus of the event was to unite Manchester alumni and cohorts in the fight against cancer.

A portion of the food and beverage charges will be donated to The University of Manchester to support cancer research, helping to expedite solutions. This initiative offers a wonderful opportunity to bring more early-career cancer researchers to Manchester.

The venue provided a spectacular view of Victoria Harbour, creating a stunning backdrop for the evening. Our alumni and cohorts enjoyed a delightful selection of food and wine, which contributed to a warm and festive atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed the Friday evening, engaging in meaningful conversations and networking with fellow alumni. The sense of camaraderie was palpable, and it was heartening to see so many people come together for such an important cause.
