Alliance Manchester Business School hosts inaugural Social Responsibility symposium
Staff and students from across the University came together at Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) on 11 May for a series of lectures and panel discussions on social responsibility.

Discussions included:

- interdisciplinary working and problems with scalability
- an introduction to the Sustainable Futures platform
- why a growth mindset contradicts life on a shrinking planet
- aiming for net-positive rather than net-zero
- how future higher education courses should be designed with social responsibility in mind
- the importance of everyone’s individual experience in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)
- how a 12-month pilot in the School of Environment, Education and Development (SEED) is promoting sustainable travel around the world.
