The University of Manchester is delighted to be partnering with Reach Society to host their 2nd Manchester Employability Day.

The Manchester Employability Day is an inspirational event which aims to address the underachievement of young people, especially Black boys and young men. The event provides an opportunity for young people (aged 10 to 20) and their parents/guardians to interact with professionals from the Black community and a cohort of exhibitors from the public and private sectors, to discover pathways to success and develop their talents to make viable transitions into adult life.

  • Discover pathways to success in a wide range of employment sectors
  • Be inspired by and interact with more than 30 professional Black role models
  • Engage the leading community groups who help to prepare young people to become confident learners as they hone their talents
  • Discover what private, public and third sector firms offer students aged 16 plus, university undergraduates and graduates
  • Experience a themed workshop and the panel of experts – for great hints and tips
