Reimagining New Towns: Delivering growth and place-making for 21st century England
On Monday, 10 November The University of Manchester’s Alliance Manchester Business School, School of Environment, Education and Development, and The Productivity Institute are jointly hosting an event “Reimagining New Towns: Delivering growth and place-making for 21st century England” at the Alliance Manchester Business School, as part of the Campaign for Social Sciences.
This event will be an exploration of the New Towns Taskforce Report to Government, a major contribution to the national conversation on housing and place-making. The event will explore how new towns can help address England’s housing challenges, featuring reflections from Dame Kate Barker and a panel of leading experts in urban planning, regional development, and policy.
