#DesignforMSK – Young people designing solutions

The Public Programmes team at The Nowgen Centre have launched #DesignforMSK, a new project that aims to raise awareness of musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions in young people.

We are inviting those living with a musculoskeletal condition like arthritis, lupus or fibromyalgia to get involved in this creative project by taking part in two summer workshops. Attendees will get the chance to work alongside product design students from Manchester School of Art and researchers from the University of Manchester. By sharing experiences and ideas there is an opportunity to inspire the design of new products that could improve daily life for those with musculoskeletal conditions.

The first workshop will take place on Saturday 9 July from 10.00am-1.00pm at Ziferblat, 23 Edge Street, Manchester M4 1HW. All attendees will receive vouchers to thank them for their time and all travel expenses will be reimbursed.
