Sustainability challenge photography competition voting opens soon

Cast your vote in the first Sustainability Challenge Photography Competition from Monday, 25 April – Friday, 29 April.

Students across the University were asked to submit a photo and caption which raises awareness of a sustainability issue that’s important to them. As well as receiving cash prizes of up to £200, the shortlisted finalists will also be able to donate to a sustainability charity of their choice.

How to vote:

Facebook (Monday 25 – Friday 29 April)

Instagram Story Poll (Wednesday 27 April)

The competition offers students a timely opportunity to focus on current sustainability issues which have been highlighted by COP26 and ongoing talks around climate change. As well as engaging students with sustainability, the contest is also promoting our Sustainability Challenge, an interactive online activity where students across the University learn to think critically about sustainability in a real-world context.

Winners of the competition will be announced at the Making a Difference Awards on Tuesday, 10 May.
