The Museum of Science and Industry is very excited to be one of the locations for the Bee in the City sculpture trail this summer and to mark the occasion we are having a bee-themed Late on Wednesday 25 July from 7pm – 10pm.

See Bee in City: http://beeinthecitymcr.co.uk/

Our Lates are informal, adults-only events that take place after hours, combining hands-on activities and demonstrations with a bar. We work with scientists and researchers from across the country to bring an exciting and innovative programme to our visitors. We welcome audiences of around 500 during a Late so there’s great opportunity for public engagement here.

We’re looking for interactive, hands-on and creative activities showcasing exciting contemporary research that will inspire our young adult audience. As it’s the summer, we’re also looking to make use of our outdoor spaces as well as indoor galleries. If you have a bee-themed activity or demonstration that you think might suit this type of event, please get in touch by Wednesday 13 June.
