Have you thought about submitting an entry for your public engagement work or possibly nominating someone?
The annual Making a Difference Awards for social responsibility are now open to receive entries, with a closing date of 1 February 2017.
Coordinated by the Office for Social Responsibility, the awards recognise and celebrate the many different types of social responsibility achievements of the University’s academic, professional support, library and cultural institution staff, students, alumni and external partners. Individuals and teams can enter.
Previous winners and highly commended recipients state how receiving a Making a Difference Award has often helped develop their project, highlighted the impact of their work, provided well-deserved recognition to those involved and in some cases secured further resources.
The awards culminate in a high profile awards ceremony, hosted by the President and Vice-Chancellor in May 2017.
