After the REF: Taking Stock, 6 May 2014, Bristol

With the REF now a fading memory, it is a good moment to take stock of the process. HEFCE invited the sector to submit examples of public engagement with research. Did you? How did you manage to navigate the guidance and to identify compelling evidence of impact arising from engagement? What lessons did you learn, and what feedback would you like to give HEFCE to inform their ongoing informal review of the process? How can we work together over the next couple of years to consolidate what we’ve learned and invest in capacity building to prepare us for the next REF?

The NCCPE invites you to join an interactive workshop on the 6 May, in Bristol, to capture our collective learning and to shape a review paper which we will share with the UK Funding Councils. The event is planned to run from 10.30 to 4.00 and will include lunch and refreshments. A fee of £50 will apply.

Please book your place here.

The booking form includes several questions about your experience of the REF which we hope you will be able to complete. Your answers will help us to plan and structure the event. If you cannot make the workshop, but would like to contribute in other ways, please let us know by emailing nccpe.enquiries@uwe.ac.uk
