Take part in the 2026 Universally Manchester Festival – a community day for all

As part of our civic commitment to enhancing our relationship with local communities, we are holding our annual university-wide festival on Saturday, 13 June 2026, 11.00am – 4.30pm. This one-day event is primarily aimed at a family audience.
The Festival has been running since 2017 and aims to create a welcoming event on campus and enhance our engagement with our local neighbouring communities. The Festival sees thousands of visitors take part in a free, fun, and interactive event that appeals to individuals and families. It provides opportunities for them to engage with our research, learning, cultural institutions, staff, students, and community partners. And it provides opportunities for you to engage with communities you may not otherwise engage with; to share the wonder of your work; and show how you are making a difference to wider society.
