Air Today, Gone Tomorrow

As part of the Festival of Social Science, taking place from 2-9 November, the Air Today, Gone Tomorrow project provided an opportunity for researchers from The University of Manchester and pupils from Medlock Primary School in Brunswick to work together on a clean air project.

Applications open for the Manchester Access Programme

The aim of the Manchester Access Programme (MAP) is to help students who meet specific academic and background criteria, achieve entry to the University of Manchester, or another research-intensive university, through the completion of a portfolio of work demonstrating specific knowledge and skills.

Manchester Culture Award – Finalists

The Manchester Culture Awards took place at Manchester Convention Centre on Saturday 9 November, with The Ahmed Iqbal Ullah Education Trust being named as finalist in the ‘Inspiring Innovation’ category for its project Coming in From the Cold (CIFTC).
