Volunteer of the Year Awards 2023It is the final opportunity to nominate someone you know who volunteers for the university’s Volunteer of the Year Awardsyou can even nominate yourself!

Make a nomination before Monday, 6 March (10:00am).

Celebrating the very best of volunteering, the awards give The University of Manchester and our community partners the opportunity to recognise those who epitomise what it means to make a difference. There are three individual categories: staff, student, and alumni; and one group category for students. If you don’t work at the University, you can still nominate someone for an award.

Last year’s staff winner, Dr Florian Walter supports those with serious mental health concerns through an online support helpline.  Our student winner, Robert Cartwright-Speakman supported students from disadvantaged areas to apply to study Medicine.
