Inclusive Growth in Greater Manchester 2020: Taking Stock and Looking Forward
The end of 2019 saw the publication of the Inclusive Growth Analysis Unit (IGAU) legacy report Inclusive Growth in Greater Manchester 2020: Taking Stock and Looking Forward. The report is the culmination of four years of research, funded by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation.
‘Inclusive growth’ is the idea of building an economy that offers opportunities and benefits to all. The IGAU have analysed the policies that are in place across Greater Manchester, and offered recommendations for the next mayoral period. As we approach the mayoral elections on 7 May 2020, this is a key time to be considering how policymakers can support everyone within the Greater Manchester economy.
