IntoUniversity Partnership Awards 2020
IntoUniversity now works with over 40,000 young people each academic year, in 31 centres and projects across the UK. Since its opening in 2018, staff and students at the University of Manchester have been heavily involved in the work and activity at the IntoUniversity Manchester North centre, supporting primary, secondary and post-16 learners in the local community of Blackley, North Manchester.
Each year, IntoUniversity run their ‘Partnership Awards’, an opportunity to ‘recognise the exceptional key supporters of the organisation and to thank them for their efforts and dedication’ to the young people.
This year, we are pleased to announce that two individuals from The University of Manchester community, have been nominated for an IntoUniversity Partner Award:
– Han Zhang – nominated for University Student Volunteer of the Year
– Amy McDowell – nominated for IntoUniversity Individual Champion of the Year
As a University, we are extremely proud of the effort and commitment shown by our two nominees and want to wish them the best of luck in the awards!
