Making a Difference Awards shortlist

We would like to say a huge thank you to everybody who entered the Making a Difference Awards 2019 and we are now delighted to reveal the individuals and teams who have made it to the Awards shortlist.

Congratulations to all those who have been shortlisted we are very much looking forward to welcoming you to the Awards ceremony on 2 May. The quality of entries was outstanding and many more entries have also received a commended award.

This year we received over 170 entries across 9 categories including: outstanding benefit to society through research; outstanding contribution to teaching and outstanding contribution to widening participation.

All shortlisted entries will receive their award from our President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell at a ceremony on 2 May, where the winners of each category will be announced.

The Making a Difference Awards recognise and celebrate the many different types of social responsibility achievements of the University’s academic and professional support staff, students and alumni.
