Sights, Sounds and Stories: Manchester’s medical stories

As a result of the University’s Community Festival earlier this year, the Museum of Medicine and Health now has a new digital resource free for secondary schools.

Highlighting Manchester’s first hospital for babies, this online resource contains quizzes, activities, archive film, podcasts and articles for schools to explore in the classroom or during home learning. The resource includes a fully BSL interpreted event Hearing Health Stories focusing on the history of experiences of people with hearing loss and how health policy can make a positive impact on lives and communities.

Details of the resources can be found on the Faculty website.
