Our top five stories in September

Here are 5 highlights from our September social responsibility newsletter:

We published a report showing how the University is driving positive change across all 17 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, through our research, teaching, public engagement and operations.

Through our Coursework for Change campaign, we have been showcasing inspiring examples of student work that support the Sustainable Development Goals, helping ensure their ideas are shared and celebrated.

We joined students and colleagues from universities across Manchester to march at Manchester Pride, celebrating and supporting LGBT+ communities across the city.

Looking forward, join the University’s Innovation Festival for workshops, live demonstrations and networking opportunities to explore how innovation is creating positive change locally and globally.

Finally, over the summer, staff volunteers supported the Give It, Don’t Bin It campaign, helping students to donate unwanted food, clothing and household items to local charities.
