Sustainability careers week

sustainability careers weekThe University’s Sustainability Careers Week starts Monday, 5 February with a schedule of events designed to help students explore roles in environment and sustainability sectors.

One of the highlights of this year’s celebrations will include the return of our Environment and Sustainability Conference. Students can meet Manchester alumni and other professionals working in environment and sustainability related roles in the UK. They’ll get to find out what their work involves, how they found their job and get tips on following in their footsteps.

As well as the conference, students will be able to take part in a range of activities on campus including a session on getting into sustainability, and meeting Recruiters in Residence, Brabners – the UK’s largest law firm and first outside of London to become BCorp certified.

In addition to these activities, we will also be hosting Grow Your Future – an English garden party themed event where students can grab some goodies, win prizes, and chat with the Careers Service, Volunteering, Stellify and Masood Entrepreneurship Centre teams. This is an ideal way for students to find out more about a ton of career enhancing opportunities which will help their career to bloom.
