The Hide Ranger is a Manchester based designer who works with original leather goods. The collection, exclusive to the Whitworth, forms part of a new collection inspired by their forthcoming exhibition. Emma the founder of the brand utilises leather destined for waste, such as pre-loved sofas, off-cuts from local furniture makers and small leftovers from bag making. Emma loves the sourcing of the leftover materials and as her work is mostly using reclaimed and surplus leather means that each item is limited edition and extra special!

Also available to purchase at the Whitworth are products by PIVOT. PIVOT are a social enterprise empowering people experiencing homelessness to pivot their lives. Their mission is to bring meaningful and flexible employment to those who might otherwise not have access to it and in doing so give them the confidence and skills they need to take steps away from temporary accommodation.
