University of Manchester joins Greater Manchester’s Citizens UK

The University of Manchester has joined Greater Manchester Citizens, a Citizens UK Chapter, as a principal partner. Greater Manchester Citizens Chapter is part of the national community organising group Citizens UK. The regional group is made up over 250,000 people who have united to form an alliance, from mosques, churches, synagogues, trade unions, schools, student unions, universities and faith groups. Together, GM Citizens members work to overcome injustice and win change on the things that are important to their local communities across the city region. Manchester Students Union were already a member and has led the way in developing a strong partnership with GM Citizens.
