Lemn

The University of Manchester’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Directorate is inviting care-experienced years 10,11 & 12 and their teachers from schools in Greater Manchester, along with current care-experienced students at The University of Manchester to an event with Lemn Sissay (former Chancellor of The University of Manchester), to be held in the newly re-opened Manchester Museum on 20 April.

Attendees will be able to meet representatives of the Greater Manchester Care Leavers Trust and staff from the University who support care experienced students, when they come to study at Manchester.  They will also be able to talk to and hear the stories of care-experienced students and alumni about their time at Manchester and what they have gone on to achieve.
