Transport in Greater Manchester is changing, with the aim that by 2040, Greater Manchester will have world class connections that support long-term, sustainable economic growth and access to opportunity for all.

Through the EU funded Triangulum project, electric cargo bikes are now available to hire free of charge to staff from The University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University, the Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and businesses based on the Oxford Road Corridor.

Kevin Casey, the University’s Head of Procurement, has been shortlisted for a prestigious Green Gown award in the sustainability champion category.
