New Vice Deans for Social Responsibility

We are delighted to announce two new Vice Deans for Social Responsibility, who will be joining Professor Ken McPhail, the Associate Dean for Social Responsibility in the Faculty of Humanities.

Greater Manchester Walking Festival

The Greater Manchester Walking Festival runs across the region from 1-31st May and this year has featured over 200 free guided walks in Manchester and the surrounding districts.

In November, the University will launch the biggest environmental sustainability initiative in the higher education sector -10,000 Actions.

ESRC Devo Manc Hub launched

The University has awarded Francesca Gains (Politics and policy@manchester) and Kevin Ward (Geography and cities@manchester) an ESRC (Economic and Social Ressearch Council) Impact Accelerator Award to establish a hub for the University’s impact work on Devo Manc and the Northern Powerhouse.
