Expressions of Interest Call for Community Festival 2023

by | Mar 6, 2023

Get involved in showing our local friends and neighbours, the breadth of work that goes on at The University of Manchester

As part of our commitment to enhancing our relationship with members of our local communities, we are holding our annual University-wide Community Festival on Saturday, 10 June 2023, from 11.00am-4.00pm.

University Community Festival

Last year we welcomed over 2,600 people, many from our local neighbourhoods and beyond to enjoy our Community Festival by getting hands-on and finding out about the work of the University; with many speaking of seeing lots of friendly smiley faces having fun and really enjoying the day.

The 2023 Community Festival will be centred round Alan Turing, University Place, Williamson Square and Manchester Museum.

We’ll be looking to build on the success of the previous years, inviting our local neighbours on to campus to discover the wide variety of things we do, to meet our staff and students and to find out what opportunities are available for them to get involved with.

If you are interested in taking part in this year’s Community Festival to host an activity, then please register your interest by completing the online expressions of interest form by 5pm on Thursday 13 April 2023.

If you have any questions, please contact: engagement@manchester.ac.uk

We look forward to seeing you at the Festival in June!
