Voice of Young Science Workshop – 14 April at Manchester – applications open for early career researchers

Applications are now open for the 2023 Voice of Young Science workshops with our first free Standing up for Science workshop commencing on Friday 14th April 2023 at The University of Manchester.

Standing up for Science workshops equip researchers to engage with the public, journalists and policymakers.

Early career researchers will:

  • Hear directly from policymakers and academics on how evidence is used in policy
  • Listen to journalists talk about how they approach reporting science and evidence and what they need from researchers
  • Get practical tips, drawing on Sense about Science’s decades of experience, to empower them to engage with the public in real and meaningful ways

Open to early career researchers from all subject areas.
